Testimonials
I am writing this to praise my right-hand Maltron keyboard. It was easy to learn and I have achieved an accurate speed of 65 words per minute. It also has made my college experience a lot easier because I could never have taken the required computer classes without it. Thank you for the keyboard and the support you always have provided for me.

I am a disabled veteran of the United States Air Force. I lost the use of my right arm, wrist and hand. The VA purchased your wonderful keyboard for my use while attending college. Your keyboard is a real life saver and I can’t tell you what a well designed product you have.

Dear Mr. Barrett:
I am writing to tell you how pleased I am with the Maltron keyboard. By this spring I could type on my Qwerty keyboard for less than thirty minutes a day without further worsening my wrist and forearm pain. I could not use a manual can opener and hearty business handshakes were agonizing. After four months of using your keyboard, my hands are much better. The carpal bones in my wrists stay in their normal position now, rather than being pilled out of alignment. My daily typing time is measured in hours rather than minutes and my grip strength is returning. Enclosed is a check for a second Maltron keyboard for my husband. We find your keyboards an excellent investment in preventative medicine.

Sincerely,

Dear Mr. Barrett,
I have worked in Office management all my working life and although my typing skills were more of a bonus to my employer, it was never a major function to my requirements. I was however, able to achieve a respectful 80 words per minute using a standard type keyboard. Unfortunately, due to an aggravated elbow injury, I was forced to find some other line of employment. One, that would require less extensive use of the tendons in my left arm. In my quest for employment direction, I retained the services of a Vocational Rehab. Counselor to guide me in the right direction. It was she, who recommended getting a one-hand keyboard, allowing me to get back into the Medical field. I started my training at the First-Step Career Academy, in Modesto, CA on October 2, 2000. Within one week, I had received my R.H.”Single Handed” Maltron Keyboard from Applied Learning Corp. The initial start-up was relatively easy, as the training manual seemed well written and except for a couple of initial problems with the transition from two hands to one, it became even more beneficial to my future than originally considered. In less than 6 weeks, my typing skills had improved to 85 words per minute, and allowed me to utilized my left hand for using s mouse. This in itself is a positive plus for any employer. The close fit of the Keyboard allows me to better concentrate on the work at hand, such as: generating Medical Dental Records forms, Patient History data, Autopsy reports and so on. Extensive billing reports, Accounting and other number related reports are much easier to generate and leaves me less stressed and in less pain than was ever produced with a conventional keyboard. The design is superb and your services are exceptional. I wish to thank you for your prompt response to my needs and in the speed with which you sent my Carrying case and Keyboard Splitter. I am well satisfied with everything connected with the Maltron system.

Dear Mr. Barrett,
Thank you for making the Maltron keyboard available in the United States. My experience with the Maltron has been truly remarkable. I have been unable to work for over 5 years due to multiple physical limitations imposed by a multitude of spinal problems. My only hope to work was to do so solely from my home in an occupation which would allow me to lie down while working. After many years of research, I found an employment option, but it required me to type constantly. That was a problem since I had carpal tunnel syndrome and weakness in my hands due to the spinal disease. I tried using a conventional keyboard, but after only 10 minutes my symptoms were exacerbated greatly and I had to stop. The Maltron was my only hope. When I received my Maltron, I tried to be conservative in its use so as not to wear out my hands, but I found that right away I was able to type ˝ hour to 1 hour without aggravating my symptoms. Over the next month I was able to type up to 4 hours at a time without hurting my hands. Now, I type as long as I want. My hands haven’t been this strong in years. The Maltron seems to have actually been therapeutic. Thank you for returning me to the world of the gainfully employed.

Sincerely,
